What counts against the drive limit?

Only drives you own. Drives someone else loans to you are unlimited on every plan, including Free, so receiving a drive from a client or a production never costs you anything.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan tracks up to 10 drives with no time limit and no card required.

How much does Vault Buddy cost?

Pro is $19 per month for unlimited drives. Team is $49 per month with 3 members included, plus $12 per month for each additional seat up to 15 members.

Do I need a Team plan to loan a drive to someone?

No. Loans and chain of custody work between any two Vault Buddy accounts. Team plans add shared ownership, roles, and required signatures for people working inside one organisation.
