What it checks

It reads the file once, then scores what it found against every platform you picked.

The things that get a file bounced

SpotCheck examines codec, container, resolution, frame rate, pixel aspect, audio layout and bit rate, and whether your 30 is actually a 30.

Loudness and true peak

It measures integrated loudness and true peak the way the broadcast standard does, then holds them against the numbers the platforms you picked actually publish.

It reads your slate

Five seconds of slate, a silent leader, and your ad starting on the frame the spec names (frame 168 at 23.98). Then it reads the slate on screen and checks the ad code against your file name.

Safe area, and what the app covers

Title and content safe guides are drawn over the picture from the published figures. On a vertical cut it also draws TikTok's safe zone and the zones Meta uses for Reels and Stories.

Captions, checked against picture

Drag and drop an .srt onto the picture and it immediately plays the captions against the video. It even spell checks each word, so you never have an embarrassing misspelling.

Notes on the frame

Pause anywhere, draw on the picture, and write a note. You can even export notes to Avid, Premiere, and DaVinci Resolve.

Every cut on one playhead

Play all the cuts of a campaign at once. Line them up by their last frame so you can compare the end cards for the 6, the 15 and the 30.
